Who this is for
Maybe you’re a student who watched builders on YouTube and thought “I wish I could do that” — but every course you started drowned you in jargon by video three. Maybe you’re a professional who can feel the ground shifting: AI is eating tasks whole, and you’d rather ride the wave than be swept by it. Maybe you’re a parent who wants their child learning real, future-proof skills instead of only games.
All three of you are in the right place. My programming track assumes zero background — no computer science degree, no “natural talent” myth, no age limit. What it requires is curiosity and one hour a day. What it delivers, in return, is the most empowering skill of this generation: the ability to instruct machines. And unlike the tutorial maze, everything you learn here ends up in things you built — small programs, working pages, live tools — because a skill you can’t demonstrate is a skill you don’t really have.
What we cover
Introduction to Programming
The universal grammar: variables, conditions, loops, functions, data — taught through problems from daily life, so the concepts stick because they make sense.
JavaScript & Python
The twin engines: JavaScript for the interactive web, Python for automation, data and AI. Choose a track or learn both — either way, you write code from week one.
Vibe Coding
The modern workflow: describing what you want to AI tools, directing their output, and reading code well enough to fix and own it. Building at the speed of thought — without becoming dependent.
Introduction to Prompt Engineering
The skill of skills: how to instruct AI models so they deliver what you actually meant — precise, reliable, repeatable results instead of impressive-sounding nonsense.
Working with AI Models & AI Agents
From chat windows to real workflows: choosing models, chaining tasks, and building agents that plan, use tools and check their own work — certified territory I know hands-on.
Visual Studio Code & the developer workflow
The professional’s home: VS Code setup, extensions, debugging, terminal basics — the environment habits that make everything else faster.
How it works
The monthly fee is set together in the consultation, because an hour of “intro to programming” and an hour of “building AI agents” are different engagements — and honest pricing should reflect that. No hidden costs, ever.
Why learn this with me
Because I’m certified in the exact stack I teach — JavaScript, Python, and Python AI Development — and because I use these tools daily to build real products like Handy Tools, not slide decks about them. And because I remember precisely what being a confused beginner feels like, my lessons start where you actually are, not where a syllabus pretends you should be. The promise is simple: you will never leave a session more confused than you arrived — and within your first month, you’ll have built things you can show people.
Common questions
I’ve never written a line of code. Really, me?
Really, you. My programming track starts at “what is a file” and builds from there. The only true prerequisites are basic computer use and one hour daily. Everything else is teachable — that’s not motivation-speak, that’s my entire teaching method.
Will AI make programmers obsolete?
AI is making typing code cheaper — and understanding systems more valuable than ever. The people at risk are those who can only follow instructions, not those who can give them. My track teaches you to be the director, with AI as a brilliant but literal-minded assistant.
How long until I can build something real?
Weeks, not years. With AI-assisted learning and concept-first teaching, students typically ship their first small working program within the first weeks and a presentable web project within the first month or two. Pace varies — and we’ll set honest milestones in the consultation.
